At Ocean Breath, we take pride in our commitment to quality and sustainability. Many of our stationery, apparel, and art print items are made to order, and you might wonder why. Let us shed light on the reasons behind this choice.
Stationery Items: A Personal Touch
First and foremost, we are a small business, and this allows us to infuse a personal touch into every order. Many of our stationery items, such as stickers and sticker sheets, are crafted in-house. By offering select items as “made to order,” we can ensure the highest level of quality control while adding a special touch to each order.
Apparel, Accessories, and Art Prints: Choice and Environmental Responsibility
Our apparel items, accessories (including handbags, bags, headgear, and footwear), and art prints are also made to order, and here’s why. When you make a purchase, you have the freedom to choose the size, design, and print that resonate with you. But that’s not all – you also have the power to choose the size of your environmental footprint.
Did you know that approximately 85% of all textiles produced by the fashion industry end up in landfills? It’s a staggering statistic. In fact, one out of every five garments finds its way to a landfill without ever being worn, not even once. By opting for made-to-order (print on demand) apparel, accessories, and art prints, you are selecting items created only when the order is placed. This approach significantly reduces fabric and paper waste compared to conventional manufacturing, making it a responsible choice for the planet.
Why Don’t We Offer Refunds, Returns, or Exchanges?
As mentioned earlier, our items are made to order, including apparel, accessories, and art prints. This means we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or refunds if you change your mind after receiving your order. We encourage you to carefully review sizing, designs, and product details before placing your order.
We take great care to provide sizing charts and product descriptions, including whether an item is “true to size,” “small,” or “large.” We want you to make informed decisions. Please note that we DO NOT offer or accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for items ordered in error by the customer. However, if you receive an item that does not match your specific order, please visit our contact page and reach out to us. We’re here to assist you.
We are in the process of offering wholesale options through Faire, but we also collaborate with various retailers on wholesale arrangements. Feel free to reach out to us at email@example.com or use our contact page to inquire or learn more about wholesale opportunities.
If you need a substantial quantity of the same item for an event or other purposes, we do offer bulk order options for select products. To qualify for a bulk order, you must meet a minimum order quantity for the same design and product.
